Went to the Coast Guard jetty as usual most mornings at sunrise. Not much otter action in the beginning but lots of bird action. This Blue heron was just positioned perfectly to catch the sun on the water droplets of it's beak. My guess is this is actually desalination that the many of the birds do to the water they drink. However, this heron was behind the steel fence bars and i was having to shoot between them, not easy but as least it was being still.
Then this snowy egret was also having it's feathers ruffled by the wind. However, he had landed on the other side of steel railings and so i am again shooting between the railings.
this is what happens when you do not get a clear shot.
