I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!

For the last several weeks, most of the otters have been out past the fences at the end of the Coast Guard Jetty. Between bright light that I am facing right into and just distance that is too far to get really good pics, i have not been posting much about them. There are however, several new pups, I think, lol.
But none of the Mom's are tagged so it makes it hard to be sure. And neither of the Mom's are close enough for me to make any distinctions about the noses. So there are at least two but none of them are Arrow or Royal. And I was trying to watch them because I thought they might be pregnant, Tomorrow I am going to check over on the Wharf as well as sometimes they are over there. But I have seen Arrow, at least one that had the same type nose scar, down past Hopkins, so there is really no way to know for sure where they might be.
Then there have been the scrums of otters where I can only guess at what might be going on with them. Like in the picture above. Two Moms and two pups. And while I have seen them get in squabbles over turf and being to close, this was not what I watched.
Mom looking around for her pup when she came up. and below the pup just swimming around. But because it was not staying where they Mom had left it, she was having to look for it each time.
