Went to the Hester Project area at Elkhorn Slough today for a ceremony to celebrate the Slough being the 39th International Wetland in the US and something like the 125 in the world.
This photo is of some of the Staff and Volunteers. I have on my "I'd rather be counting Otters" t-shirt that i made using one of the otter pics. There are about six of us from the Reserve Otter Monitoring Project (ROMP) in the picture. It is such a beautiful place and after having rain this week, the weather has been splendid. Although, I absolutely do not mind the rain. It was the first in the area since probably April if not March.
